Beautiful moon!! Thank you Susan…. God Bless! Debbie xoxo. I was changed forever when I went on Twitter and found a year old woman named Ivy Bean, twittering from her retirement home in England.
But here she was, reaching out, and at the time I found her she had over a half-million followers!! She was so popular, writing about the simple things in her life — going to tea, going for a drive — that she was on CNN and all the most popular sports players in England went up to be photographed with her! That good canceled out all the negative in my mind. So happy you found your way here — there are kindred spirits here. What a wonderful story! I, too, am finding more and more good to say about the computer age.
A year and a half ago, my husband had a scare and needed major surgery. I was lead to an amazing website- CaringBridge-and was able to keep all of our friends and family updated on his progress without the endless phone calls that it would normally take…it turned out to be such a blessing, as even folks we had never met sent us prayers and well-wishes! Then, this past year, our daughter was expecting our first grandchild and living a 15 hr. We were introduced to Skype and were able to see her and speak face-to-face with her everyday while keeping up on her growing belly….
I would have loved to be able to share some time with Ms. Ivy Bean! I will think of her and your story whenever I need to draw on some inspiration! Happy New Year, again, friend! I bet everyone would have a wonderful story to tell about this. Thank you! VERY helpful to all involved!!

I live in a valley surrounded by mountains. It sounds crazy but sometimes when I wake up I just get up and watch the moon.
So peaceful. I have several windows in my room and very little for window treatments on them. Love your blog……Hope the new year is the best ever for you and Joe! Susan you have saved the best for last…. You live your life in such a positive way. When all around there is such trouble and 24 hours of bad news, your authentic positive force reaches us with such clarity, I find such pleasure in knowing you through your books and your writing. Thank you, Susan Branch…. A little late commenting but we took a big, spur-of-the-moment, fun camping trip with friends from Friday until Sunday.
